We are currently seeking qualified candidates for our Pack Leader position in various Ottawa locations.

CAR IS MANDATORY- SUV/HATCH
You cannot take a bus.
We are looking for long term candidates (6+ months)
Responsibilities:
-Arrange and undertake client meetings and consultations
-Provide group off leash adventure walks for an established pack of dogs or build up a clientele from our new client inquiries and waiting list.
(Group walks will take place at our private fenced in dog park in Dunrobin)
- We also provide private walks, puppy visits and boarding (you are not required to do so)
-Communicate with clients and WWMO team members often via text/social media/email.
-Integrity, transparency and communication are values we take seriously
Qualifications:
-Vehicle—SUV/Hatchback is mandatory
-Smart phone with camera and data is mandatory (you will be asked to make a wwmo instagram account)
-Walks take place M-F between 9am-3pm.

-Where you live/area you're willing to service please note this job requires a lot of driving as you are driving to pick up dogs in their homes and then driving to walk location etc. You WILL put a lot of KMs on your vehicle (and no, you are not reimbursed for mileage/gas)
-Do you have any professional experience with dogs? If not, what personal experience do you have and why do you want this job?
-Please note that you will be outside, rain or shine, bugs and snow all year round.
-This position is not an employment position. You will be an independent contractor which means you are responsible for your expenses and do not receive EI, CPP or vacation pay. You are paid a commission flat rate per dog you walk. The more you work, the more you get paid. There is possibility for growth within the company (dog trainer etc)
You will be asked to obtain an HST number (mandatory when self employment income is >$30K per year).

If you’re qualified, we will schedule a virtual interview with Jennifer, our Operations Manager.
You will then participate in a shadow training day with Sara, our Pack Leader Advisor, to ensure you understand the job and will be a good fit.
You will have other walkers mentor you as you start to walk dogs on your own!
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20,000-$60,000 per year (rate increases with time and experience, boarding and training also increase salary)
